PRAYER FOR PEACE - MISSION WORK As we observed last week at the Mission Fair, there are many ways to serve God.Ê Some of those ways are through organized charity work or through faith-based missions.Ê Hunter Farrell who leads the PC (USA) World Mission has said that poverty and oppression in the developing world are deeply rooted in structures that Christians must work to change.Ê He says that draws us into the cultural realm, the political realm, and the social realm; but he is convinced that Christ came to be the Lord of all our lives.Ê So many Presbyterians are involved in mission work around the world both through direction mission initiatives and through support of mission projects.Ê PC (USA) World Mission is a bridge to all the work that the Church and all its global partners do, including our own efforts here at First Presbyterian Church in Dunedin, Florida.Ê Father in Heaven, bless us in our efforts to serve others, to carry the burden for friends and strangers alike.Ê Give us strength and creativity as we face the obstacles that keep us from doing all that we can, all the time.Ê Amen. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHURCH HOME and are interested in joining First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, please indicate your desire to Pastor ByRoade so we can arrange a gathering of our Session.
