Koinonia (coy NO nyah) is a translaterated form of the Greek word, κοινωνία, which means communion, joint participation; the share which one has in anything, participation, a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution, etc. It identifies the idealized state of fellowship and unity that should exist within the Christian church, the Body of Christ.
Join us at Koinonia, the 3rd Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Bring a list of the names and authors of about 3 – 5 books that you have read in the last year that you think others would enjoy. This is usually quite a lively meeting as many other readers may comment on your selections! We will have snacks and door prizes. Bring anyone who can read!
