Sanctuary choir

 

The Sanctuary Choir is open to all singers and leads worship at the 10:30 a.m. service in the sanctuary.  The Sanctuary Choir also leads worship at special services during the year such as: Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Christmas Eve, etc.  Anthems from Gregorian chant to Renaissance motets, to Classical and 20th century anthems provide their repertoire.  The choir often performs works with orchestra and brass.  Past works include “Gloria” by Vivaldi, “Magnificat” by Pergolesi, “Seven Last Words of Christ” by Schütz, “The Seven Last Words” by Dubois and “Messiah” by Handel.  The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
