Ministry of the Month
October 24th

It’s a fact that even in our community we have kids that have food insecurities. Pack-a-snack is a Pinellas County outreach program sponsored by community churches and nonprofits. First Presbyterian Church has been a part of this program since 2009. Our volunteers are hard at work preparing weekend snacks for the kids at Dunedin Elementary School that need it the most. Check out the VOICE this month for facts on how and who qualifies for the program. The Mission Commission is proud to be a part of this community outreach program.

Join us on Monday, OCTOBER 24TH at 9:00am in the First Presbyterian Church Parking lot as we launch our FIFTH YEAR of walking silently together.  We will walk the Labyrinth at the Good SamaritanEpiscopal Church, Clearwater. Esther Miseroy will meet us before the walk, explaining the history of labyrinths and how silent walking is a an ancient spiritual tool.

Meet at the First Church parking lot at 9am to carpool to “Good Sam”.  Coffee at a nearby café after the walk will give us time for fellowship and feedback about the labyrinth walk experience.

Bring a friend; newcomers ALWAYS welcome!! Interested?
