Our annual service for giving thanks to God for the bounty of the land by helping to feed those of our community suffering from food insufficiency, will be held on November 20th at both our "Worship Cafe" Contemporary Service at 8:45am and our Traditional Service at 10:30am.
As in previous years we will be using these services to draw attention to the needs of the less fortunate in our community. It is traditional to bring a donation of fresh fruits, vegetables and dry goods to Church.
Examples - Vegetables: Potatoes, onions, carrots, sweetpotatoes, white potatoes, Brussel sprouts, celery, squash, etc. Fruits: Apples, oranges, grapes, bananas, peaches, mangos. Dry food: packaged bread, stuffing mix, cereal, black beans, split peas, soup mix, all types of rice. Canned vegetables: Peas, corn, green beans mushrooms, Cranberries.
Please note that we cannot accept goods that need to be refrigerated because the food will need to stay in Hager Hall overnight to be picked up on Monday by the RCS food truck.
These are joyous services, full of Joyful music and pertinent lessons, as we give thanks to the Lord for His many blessings. Please invite family members, friends and neighbors to join us “ALL ARE WELCOME” Sponsored by the Worship Commission.
